Claudia Petrilli is a holistic health coach working with clients who are tired of feeling guilty about their food choices and not loving what they see in the mirror. She helps them figure out what foods and exercises they love so they can feel confident on a daily basis.
Claudia as many people in the world didn’t start off life as a health coach, it was the result of the experiences she had growing up. Growing up she suffered from things such as poor sleep, weight gain, and acne which were all symptoms of a larger issue.
As an adult she started removing sugar from her diet, and exercising which resulted in the loss of 30 lbs and has kept it off for over 10 years.
After becoming a health coach she realized quickly that there was more to health than losing weight such as inflammation and emotional issues. People wanted to lose the weight but not address the issues behind it which are the key to long term weight loss.
Today Claudia primarily focuses on sugar cravings as it is in large quantities of food produced today in the western world. Because of this, it can be difficult to wean yourself off of sugar due to its widespread usage.
One tip Claudia shares as a way to reduce sugar in the diet is to replace table sugar with maple syrup or honey. It’s important to use natural forms of these products as there are artificial verisons which are full of high fructose corn syrup.
Currently Claudia is leveraging video to grow her business online, as it allows her to connect at a deeper level with her prospective audience. Additionally, she is leveraging Snapchat to provide unfiltered access into her life.
