Edie Clarke helps clients engage with their audience through the use of videos and YouTube, by teaching them how to use simple tools to create and market videos that builds your tribe and gets you seen by your ideal audience.
Edie’s fascination for video marketing began when she was a teenager that led her to work at a local tv station in the US Virgin Islands. Her professional career includes working with producers, in Sony pictures FX dept and opening a commercial production company in Brooklyn.
9/11 changed all of it for her, which led her to create her own company called Virtually In Sync, helping business owners understand the true impact that video can have on their business. One of the things that she discovered was that business owners avoided using video because of not knowing what to do.
When she began teaching business owners how to leverage video, flip cams were the newest tool on the market!
One type of video that every business owner should make to promote their business is a “How To” video. The reason for this is simple. YouTube is the #2 search engine, and quite often people turn to the platform to learn how to do something.
The One Thing that every business owner should do is create video that answers their ideal client’s most pained questions. You want to figure out what they are lacking and start creating videos that answer those issues.
Another thing that business owners can do is record videos to promote their business in bulk. Block out a time of the week where you can knock out 5 or 6 videos in a couple of hours. This way you can utilize them throughout the week or month.
