A challenge that many entrepreneurs face in business is implementing what they have learned. Do you know someone who has watched webinar after webinar or taken multiple courses without achieving any results?
This is quite common not because of the content being bad, or not having a desire to achieve results. Often it is simply because there are so many things to accomplish entrepreneurs don’t know where to begin. Have you ever taken a course with amazing content, but because of its complexity you were unsure what you needed to do next? Or there was a course with such a high volume of material it was overwhelming which resulted in you or someone you know not taking any action.
One of the best ways to overcome the lack of inaction is to create a plan of rapid implementation. This simply means instead of creating something elaborate, you focus on what can be created and implemented quickly.
Here are 4 simple steps that you can utilize.
- Identify the most basic goal in your sales process. Often this goal in business is obtaining the contact information for a prospect. In most cases, this means simply collecting names and email addresses. To achieve this you need an offer that results in the submission of contact information and a way to do it. Instead of creating fancy landing pages yourself, you can leverage a tool such as Leadpages, which has an abundance of templates available that you can utilize.
- Work backward from the goal you want to achieve. If the objective is to collect contact information, you simply need an offer, a capture page, and traffic. When you break down a goal into its basic components such as this, it makes it easier to accomplish any task.
- Create what you need. In addition to using Leadpages, you can leverage a tool such as Canva to create PDFs or presentations to offer to prospects. When it comes to creating ads on platforms such as Facebook, begin with what other people are utilizing. Simply look at your newsfeed. Look for ads that have high amounts of engagement. Use them as a template to model.
- Measure and Improve. Once you have created and implemented your action plan, measure its results. Look for what is working and what is not. This will help you improve your results by improving on the different components.
Most importantly, you must take action. It doesn’t matter how well laid out a plan you have if you don’t implement it. Remember it doesn’t have to be perfect in the beginning, but it does need to get done.
