This can be done through a variety of mediums such as videos, podcasts, webinars, etc. Regardless of the medium you choose, you absolutely must ensure that you are consistent with your message. The more consistent you are the better. You want your tribe to know the message you share today will be the same in 6 months. You want to avoid becoming an individual who changes their belief system every few months. People who do this have a hard time creating a following yet alone keeping one.
External to the community you have built, expert positioning all comes down to how and where people find you. In most cases, this will involve individuals searching for you on platforms such as Google, & YouTube. Often people are seeking out solutions to problems they are experiencing and they go with whoever is ranked the highest. Let this sink in for a moment, they go with whoever is ranked the highest. It doesn’t mean that they go with whoever is the best. Your objective here is to position yourself as the go-to person by being ranked highest within search for the terms you are an expert for. This type of positioning will help expand your network as new people will be introduced to you because of how you’ve positioned yourself online.
Throughout the entire process, your whole goal is to enhance the level of trust an individual has so they decide to invest in your services. It’s not about going for the hard close, but to position yourself in such a way they would have to be crazy to say no to an offer by you.
